Weekly DBT Skills Training Group
This group is currently meeting via Telehealth during the COVID-19 crisis and is accepting new members.
Time: Fridays from 12noon to 1pm
Cost: $50 per session
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Skills training group that meets Fridays at 12 noon. This group will be focused on the learning and application of behavioral coping skills in the areas of: emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness skills, interpersonal skills, distress tolerance, and reality acceptance skills. This group is based on Marsha Linehan’s DBT skills training model. This group is a good fit for individuals who struggle to regulate emotions and behaviors that create difficulties in their everyday life, and wish to learn more adaptive behaviors. This group is skills focused, will be committed to a nonjudgmental perspective and use humor as needed levity at times. All members must have their own individual therapist as this group will not function to replace therapy. If you have out of network benefits, you may be able to seek reimbursement and will be provided with itemized receipt to do so.
